My not so-Smart Wifi was disconnected from Feb. 16, 2006 and was reconnected only this afternoon. I called their *1888 help line but instead of helping me they just irritated me! Try calling them to experience it first hand.
2/1/06: I called them regarding my slow connection. Agent Emerson answered and he put me on hold for more than 5 minutes and didn't get back at me.
2/16/06: No connection. I called to inform them. Queue was more than 5 minutes, I had to call more than 5 times before I was able to speak to an agent. Glenn Villaflor answered. He guided me on several ipconfig things, which they can't explain why. Labo! Didn't help though.
I called several times more than thrice a day. Finally they forwarded my complaint to their "higher technical" people and told me to expect a call. Lynne called while I'm out, I told her to call again after an hour. Of course, I waited, she didn't call. I called *1888 again, more than four times to follow up. Finally John Elner called and arranged for their contractor to visit me. I told him to schedule it beofre 11:00AM today because I have an appointment. I stayed at home until 11:15AM but nobody arrived. They arrived at 4:00PM. Stupid stupid stupid!
