Our lecturer for the 4th day was Mr. George Cabig, an award winning pro photographer from Laguna. The topic for the morning was still life and for the afternoon was portraiture.
A soft box aka light box was described and was used for a demo. This provides good, even lighting for still life.
The rest of the morning was hands on and also the afternoon.
More notes:
Idea --> arrangement --> unity
Small aperture---> tripod (God, I need a better tripod.)
Most still life need high DOF so subject is sharp: f/16, up
Portrait f/5.6 or lower
For background--> seamless paper or cardboard may be used
Some problems usually encountered:
tonality
luminosity
Plexiglass (Ha ha! I was looking for panaflex!?! What da!)
