What do you get when you mix the following: smoking, binge eating, and inactivity?
Answer: Heart disease!
+++++
The other week was my scheduled 2D Echo at Imus. As usual I was late for around 25 minutes. The procedure was very quick and was painless. I was told to lie on my side and a probe was directed towards my heart for around half an hour. The probe was connected to a machine that records the images gathered including the sounds made by the heart while it pumps blood.
+++++
The result was out the next day and everything was normal EXCEPT that my ventricular walls are starting to thicken (maybe with fat or maybe to compensate for the extra pressure needed to pump blood because of my thickened arteries!). I was adviced by my cardio to continue the atenolol that I was taking and to double my dose to 50mg.
+++++
I was also told to go to the hospital's dietician. He specified a low fat, low sodium diet for me and that I should lose around 50 lbs!!!
+++++
So I went to the dietician, she gave me a 1800cal per day diet. Sinunod ko naman. The diet plan was effective during my first week. I started at 200lbs and within 7 days I was already 195lbs!
+++++
I was also told to cut smoking. This one is a very loooong story. I'd rather show you my diary.

Kailangang ma-DFS ang aso bago purgahin para malaman kung anong pamurga ang gagamitin.
