The Cavite Cooperative Development Council (Cacodec) held it's annual coop award this night in Trece Martires City. Most impressive among the awardies was this employees' cooperative (I forgot the name), operating somewhere in Carmona. It posted net income of more than 18 million last year with, believe it or not, three, yes, three employees! They are very diversified too. Among their businesses are a consumer store, a credit institution, and a catering business. They won the following awards: Most Promising Cooperative and Best Managed Cooperative.
