Silang Town Fiesta

It's through and I'm very tired. As usual, our office was closed for a day and all of us participated in the Karakol, which is a chaotic streetdancing.
The route this year was different from the previous years. The assembly area is in Silang Cental School. The more than two heactare quadrangle was nearly full when the parade started. The first part was going up to Tubuan and then decending to Sabutan area, then to San Vicente, San Miguel and up again to the street in front of the Public Market and finally down to the Candelaria Church.
I think this route was even longer compared with that of last year when we started from St. Martin Subdivision.

Last year, I went to PRC because February 2 was declared a non-working holiday in the town. This year, I was able to explore Hidalgo St. in Quiapo. When I went there, I really had no idea where that street is. But it's actually very easy to find. It's the street directly in front of the church and the rear exit of SM.

I boarded a bus to Lawton then I transferred to a jeepney to Quiapo. When I saw the church, I jumped off the jeep, literally, and I looked for the underpass to get across. The underpass is difficult to find if you don't know the place because it doesn't have big markings. There are several exits on the other end and I went out on the exit to the right. When I surfaced, I found out that I went out on the wrong exit! I looked around and I saw a small gap in the pedestrian fence and I proceeded to go to the front of the church. The front is actually a small plaza. Hidalgo is on the right side of the plaza when your back is to the church and you're facing the big TV screen on the Mercury Drugstore building.

You'll confirm that you're there of you can already see photo equipment shops left and right.
