Calamares, the street-food, was featured in Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho last night. A part of the segment was about a lady that developed skin lesions due to exposure to formalin. To prove it, the staff collected samples from a market and brought them to a BFAR laboratory. The result indicated the presence of formalin in the squid.
So, the farmer that I visited then was right all along!
